Stephanie McMillan

Stephanie McMillan is a talented young artist who explains here why she is seeking support through crowd-funding.   She is a great 'myths designer' so she has her own page in this e-book, detailing her work as an integral permaculture pioneer.

She launched her Patreon campaign to gain 'mainentance (or continuous)funding' - a stable monthly income to help her dedicate all of her time to her activism work, something Patreon made possible by creating a platform for artists in 2013 with the purpose of "bringing patronage back to the 21st century."

In 2010 she ran another (successful) crowd-funding campaign to help create a children's book.

Crowd funding occurs for any variety of purposes, from disaster relief to citizen journalism to artists seeking support from fans, to political campaigns, to funding a startup company or small business or creating free software.
